Meet the Staff

Mrs. Sam Irving Co-Lead Practitioner

With 30 years of experience in childcare, I am deeply passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, and watching them grow. I hold a Foundation Degree in Teaching & Learning Support for Early Years and am always eager to explore new ideas and theories to enhance the learning environment. Both of my daughters attended Ivegill Nursery and Ivegill School, where they benefitted from the strong sense of community. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, walking, cooking, and spending quality time with my family.

Mrs. Lisa Nelson Co-Lead Practitioner

I have always been involved with children and joined Ivegill Nursery in 2012, working as Deputy Lead from 2019-2021. I have a NCFE cache level 4 certificate for the Early Years Advanced Practitioner. I am also an accredited PanCo (Physical Activity and Nutrition Coordinator). I love working with children in their early years and it is rewarding to see them learn, develop and thrive in our care. I live locally with my family and have two children who attended Ivegill Nursery and Ivegill School. I enjoy walking and yoga, holidays and being with my family.

Mrs. Kerry Richardson

I have worked at Ivegill Nursery since 2008. I live locally and both my children attended Ivegill Nursery. In 2016 I achieved the Early Years Teacher Status qualification. I love doing singing and music activities with the children. In my spare time I enjoy playing the flute in the music group at my local church, and spending time with my family.

Mrs. Rebecca Greaves

I enjoy spending time with my family fell walking, cycling and baking.
